A judge sided with Volusia County Schools regarding a complaint filed by an Ormond Beach parent alleging the district and Seabreeze High School unfairly excluded her son, who has Down syndrome, and denied his electives.

Jupiter High School gets extra mental health support after student emergency

Many parents and students continue to have questions about a student medical emergency that prompted a lockdown and tense day at Jupiter Community High School on Thursday.

While we don’t know the exact circumstances surrounding the medical incident because of privacy laws, we do know it had a big impact on the school community.

Every Palm Beach County public school has a counselor and behavioral health specialist on campus. But something like Thursday’s emergency brings out more support with therapy dogs, additional counselors, and really a whole team.

Worried About Vax-Related Side Effects? Breath Easier One Year Out

I’m at my one year anniversary of getting Pfizer’s COVID-19 vax. I’m starting to worry less about adverse effects, not that I’ve lost much sleep over it. Luckily, I’m hearing no chatter at my hospital about requiring the boosters. Yet I don’t hear any of the vax mandaters saying “we were wrong.” A relative of mine is searching for a job now and reports that the great majority of posted jobs still require the vax. Unbelievable!

The patient is wise to look away. If you watch the needle go in, it’ll hurt more.
